The care i received from Sasha was/is amazing. Although i am an NHS patient, i have felt like a privately cared for patient since we first met. I feel she went above & beyond her duty due to my situation & ensured i was monitored constantly whilst being situated on another ward. The initial and most crucial part of my care was over the festive period where Sasha still came to see me everyday to ensure i was on the right path to recovery. I cannot thank or recommend Sasha & her team enough for looking after me, they/she is a true asset to the NHS & anyone who comes into contact with her.

Following the discovery of a lump in my breast I was tested over a period of 18 months and given the all clear. When I decided to have the lump removed I was referred to Sascha. She had her team carry out further tests and it was at this point that my cancer was discovered. Sascha gave my husband and I the diagnosis 18 months ago. I cannot imagine how hard it must be to regularly have to tell people that they have cancer. Sascha broke the news to us with great sensitivity and empathy. She allowed us the time to process this life changing information and answered all of our questions honestly and openly. This was hugely important to me at the time. Having spotted my 2 teenage children in the waiting room with me at an early appointment she brought them in to her office, introduced herself and reassured them that she was going to take good care of their mum. I am eternally grateful to her for this. People who have submitted previous reviews are right - Sascha has an amazing bedside manner and is very in touch with other people's feelings. As a result she is able to provide an amazing balance of professionalism, sympathy, reassurance and her own special brand of zany which has helped us throughout this process.

I was referred to Sascha Dua after a diagnosis of breast cancer and from the first meeting there was no doubting her professionalism and technical expertise. What sets Sascha apart is, however, something that is echoed throughout previous comments in this chain. Sascha has exemplary people skills and empathy and she provides reassurance and understanding at what is a very stressful time. I have always felt that Sascha was totally in my corner and I know how much she has done personally to expedite my case. She is a total star - a great surgeon with a very grounded manner.
